If you are looking to store/protect your knives in a drawer, these wooden covers ('Saya' in Japanese) are an elegant way to go.
These wooden sheaths are made by Edward Ross in Oregon, using poplar wood and magnets to eliminate the usage of pins (and hole drilling). The shapes are designed to fit most Japanese-made kitchen knives that Tosho offers, but they will also accommodate other brands' blades.
We highly recommend adding these on to your knife purchases if it does not include one already.
